
North Carolina Housing
The vermont Housing Partnership oversees, establishes policy and allocates funding for North Carolina Housing Trust Fund. The Housing Trust Fund, appropriated by the General Assembly, is North Carolina’s most flexible housing resource, as well as the biggest source of financing for supportive housing and crisis repair works or availability adjustments.
The Partnership includes 13 people, including the NC Housing Finance department Executive Director, the Secretary associated with Department of Commerce as well as the State Treasurer. The typical Assembly appoints the other 10 users to express low-income housing advocates, house designers, the League of Municipalities, nonprofit housing development corporations, residents of low-income housing and property financing industry.
This board meets quarterly to talk about the allocation of Housing Trust Fund appropriations.
